About Chief Master Pham
Chief Master Vu N. Pham immigrated to the United States in 1975 from Hanoi, Vietnam. As a child, Master Pham had the social challenges and pressures of trying to fit in and adapt with his new found home. During which he had to endure the name calling, bullying, and fighting that would occur because of his nationality and physical differences.
Master Pham believes the foundation of martial arts leadership training that he started under his uncles tutelage at the age of ten is what gave him the mental fortitude to stand up to all negative peer pressure. The discipline of Tae Kwon Do has kept Master Pham focused on being a positive and productive member of our community.
Master Pham has now been training in martial arts for over 20 years. When he was 16, he completed his certification program to become one of the youngest instructors in the United States .
Master Pham understands important values and discipline that was instilled in him through Tae Kwon Do training. Therefore he has committed his life to passing on the traditions to others who wish to enhance and improve their way of life through martial arts training.
Master Pham believes the life skills which consists of the 4 C’s, CONFIDENCE, COMMITMENT, COMMUNICATION, and COURAGE, is the core to a healthy and successful lifestyle for children and adults alike.
Now, Master Pham is considered by his seniors to be one of the best instructors in the country, while placing an emphasis on helping his students and their families learn together. Master Pham is the BEST.
